As\u00ed como los rezagos de exclusi\u00f3n persisten, este cementerio, ubicado en un peque\u00f1o y tranquilo municipio del departamento del Quind\u00edo, pervive como un monumento a la libre expresi\u00f3n, al respeto por el otro y sus diferencias. Lejos de cualquier rimbombancia que podr\u00eda pensarse por su distancia con cualquier confesi\u00f3n religiosa, aqu\u00ed hay algunas facetas del Cementerio Libre de Circasia. de Cementerios Patrimoniales, \u201cel 22 de agosto de 1932 don Braulio Botero Londo\u00f1o, fundador del cementerio, tom\u00f3 la vocer\u00eda del grupo promotor del Cementerio Libre y le escribi\u00f3 al reconocido abogado e ide\u00f3logo liberal Antonio Jos\u00e9 Restrepo, m\u00e1s conocido como \u2018\u00d1ito\u2019Restrepo, solicit\u00e1ndole componer un himno que exaltara la obra reci\u00e9n inaugurada y que tantos sacrificios les hab\u00eda significado\u201d y es as\u00ed como nace el himno de los muertos, el cual qued\u00f3 inmortalizado en una placa ubicada en la actualidad
